New Concord Farmhouse
This client inherited their family farmhouse and wanted to update it to make it more beautiful and functional. We got creative with the pieces we chose since space is limited, including a built-in for the entry to house coats and shoes. A new sofa and custom swivel chairs were chosen for the family room surrounding the fireplace. The kitchen was remodeled with a dark cabinetry and white island, which even includes a pull out for the dog dishes! We added a matching hutch for additional storage. There are custom window treatments throughout, including a checkered fabric in the kitchen which is a nod to the farmhouse style. We also had a quote painted on an old farm door to create a personal piece for the kitchen. The original floors and wood antique furniture is softened with an area rug and brings warmth to the home.
